This series is designed to support the teachers piloting the new Science Curriculum in K-6. It will be a series of sessions with Session 1 overviewing the key terminology, components to consider for science planning, and the role Computer Science and Scientific Method play throughout.  Participants must view the Session 1 recording prior to attending their scheduled Session 2 for their respective grade(s).

Once registered, you will be provided a login and password to access Session 1 and to locate any posted resources, recordings or information from Sessions 2-5.

The remaining sessions will each focus on one Organizing Idea per session addressing Concepts within the Organizing Idea, assessment, lesson ideas and possible resources. 

Session 1, September 7, 2022 - (pre recorded intro) Watch the prerecorded session 1 anytime prior to your session 2 September 22, 2022.

Session 2, September 22, 2022 - Unpacking Living Systems

Session 3, November 10, 2022 - Unpacking Matter

Session 4, January 18, 2023 - Unpacking Earth Systems

Session 5, March 9, 2023 - Unpacking Energy

Session 6, April 10, 2023 - Unpacking Space
