Vous êtes curieux d’en connaître plus sur le mur de sons dans le contexte d’immersion? Joignez-vous à nous pour découvrir ce qu'est un mur de sons et pourquoi il est si important dans toutes nos classes, particulièrement en ces temps post-pandémiques et avec le nouveau curriculum qui s’en vient. Dans cet atelier vous aurez l’occasion de voir des exemples concrets de murs de sons. Vous serez à même de constater qu’il s’avère un outil fort intéressant pour développer le principe alphabétique chez le jeune apprenant, la compréhension du système de sons et de ses différentes orthographes, la morphologie et le vocabulaire. Ainsi, vos élèves seront plus autonomes et confiants puisqu’ils développeront une meilleure compréhension du fonctionnement de la langue française et de son articulation.

Vous apprendrez comment le mur de son est un outil efficace afin d’organiser et d'associer  l'articulation des sons/phonèmes de la parole aux lettres/graphèmes qui représentent ces sons.Nous explorerons les différentes façons de mettre en place un mur de son ainsi qu'un regard approfondi sur les catégories de voyelles et de consonnes. Tous seront alignés sur le nouveau programme scolaire ou sur celui qui va bientôt arriver. 

Curious to learn more about the wall of sound in the French Immersion context? Join us to discover what a sound wall is and why it is so important in all our classrooms, especially in these post-pandemic times and with the new curriculum.

In this workshop you will have the opportunity to see concrete examples of sound walls. You will be able to see that it is a very interesting tool for developing the alphabetic principle in young learners, understanding the sound system and its different spellings, morphology and vocabulary. Your students will be more autonomous and confident as they develop a better understanding of how the French language works and how to articulate it. 

You will learn how the sound wall is an effective tool for organizing and associating the articulation of speech sounds/phonemes with the letters/graphs that represent those sounds. We will explore the various ways in which to set up a sound wall as well as an in depth look at the vowel and consonant categories. All will be aligned with or soon to arrive new curriculum.
