Have you ever wondered how some people have been able to create and use amazing Slides themes in their presentations, when all you see in your right-hand Themes menu is just a bunch of boring templates?

In this practical session, we will first explore the amazing Slidesmania resources, and then deconstruct one of them "behind the curtain", where Paula has worked her magic with color, fonts, backgrounds, text and image placeholders, and layouts. Together, we'll customize a theme with a logo and precise logo palette, and share some tips and resources that can help you - and your students - create Slides themes that are definitely a cut above those that we see in the Themes menu in Slides. Interested in challenging students to show what they know in a Google Slides presentation, but also want them to be able to level-up their understanding of design to reinforce ideas? Make sure their templates also reinforce their ideas through mindful design choices - in color, font, backgrounds and layouts. Come prepared to play!
