Learning Opportunities

Pear Deck and Lumio are both great tools that not only provide a quick and easy way to add interactivity to your lesson - but also give you eyes into student learning along the way. And they are both third-party apps that your district may or may not subscribe to. Both have free versions (with different limitations to those free versions).

Although they're great to compare, they're actually quite different in terms of scope and instructional process, which can make it confusing for some to decide which to use when, and *why* one might be better than the other at a particular time. Come join Janet as she reveals her personal bias (and why) but also demonstrates and celebrates all the affordances - and points out challenges - of BOTH apps.
