Learning Opportunities

One odd repercussion of the pandemic is that we all started using QR codes - a lot! From school entrance surveys to restaurant menus to digital IDs, we're all much more familiar with QR codes than we were two years ago. Now that communities know what to do with a QR code, let's leverage its easy way to connect the physical to the digital within all our learning spaces.

In this session, share stories and learn strategies that will help you and your students use QR codes seamlessly to streamline processes, such as distributing/sharing Docs, PDFs and Forms (why hand it out when they can just scan the code?), compiling interactive posters and even virtual field trips (remember Glogster, back in the day?), sharing book reviews (attached to library books themselves), providing metacognitive responses (talking through a process when creating a learning product - art product, solving a math problem, writing an essay, etc.), and more.
