In this book study of  Shelley Moore’s One without the Other, Stories of Unity Through Diversity and Inclusion, participants will take a look at Shelley’s evolution of inclusion and reflect on their own journey with Inclusive Education.  The  book study will be divided into four sessions and embedded in each session will be reflective questions for individuals to further their journey with Inclusive Education.  Each session will end with a relevant 5 minute video from Shelley Moore’s 5MM Season 1. 

Come ready to talk about Shelley’s light-hearted stories and stay tuned to the end of each session as SWAG will be available. Meetings will take place over ZOOM, and a study guide for each participant will be shared one week prior to each session.

  • Session #1:  December 3, 2021 - What is Inclusion?  Debunking the Myths (Chapters 1-4)
  • Session #2:  March 11, 2022 - Telling Stories (Chapters 5-7)
  • Session #3:  April 1, 2022 - What is Inclusion?  Telling the Stories (Chapters 8-11)
  • Session #4:  April 29, 2022 - Inclusion is Leaving No One Behind, Review of 5MM episodes from Shelley's Season One, and sharing of participant stories (Chapter 12)

All learning opportunities with the ERLC regional team will focus on the Alberta Education and district priority areas.
